Diana Janelunas
RESUMÉ

Diana Janelunas began her studies in art at the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1958. She studied drawing and painting in the Renaissance and Baroque traditions under the direction of Howard Warshaw and Rico LeBrun. At the same time, she was introduced to experimental painting and composition by water color painter William Dole.

"Baroque Apart – an "autobiographic," words and pictures about my father, a caricaturist in NY and Palm Springs in the 30s, 40, 50s and 60s.

1994

Wrote, designed and self-published Before I Could Talk... I Could Create!, artist book. Promoted in several stores in NYC, including the Whitney Museum’s Store Next Door, which placed the book on solo display inside the museum lobby.
